Cost-effective Ways to Create “Private Karaoke Room” and “Private Cinema” at Home
As the COVID-19 situation continues to ease, restrictions are being gradually relaxed. Although entertainment such as karaoke, cinemas, and party rooms are allowed to operate, we still need to follow the standard operating procedures. As more people venture out, going to movies or karaoke can be stressful. If you are afraid of catching the virus but have a heavy “addiction” to karaoke or movie? Here are the 3 steps to build a “private karaoke room” and “private cinema” at home! You can enjoy your movie and karaoke any time!
Step 1: Projector
Get a projector to create a VIP room with a “cinema big screen”! Nowadays, the price of a projector is affordable. The size of the projector is small and even suit small unit in Hong Kong. You may choose a wireless projector, making them easier to install without hanging from the ceiling.
Step 2: Plain wall
Reserve a clean white wall to make the screen look better. If there is no white wall at your home, you can consider the installation of an electric screen. You can adjust it when you need but you would need to set up the electric circuit and socket at your home. If you have less budget, you can buy a projection curtain so that you don’t have to worry about the power supply.
Step 3: Speakers
Lastly, install your speakers! If your projector already has sound features, you may skip this step. Otherwise, you’ll need to install the speakers. There are different prices and features of speakers in the market to allow you to choose according to your needs. If you want to create a “private karaoke room”, don’t forget your karaoke mic!
Whether you want to invite friends to your house or enjoy some me-time, “private karaoke room” and “private cinema” are always great to enjoy.
Gentle reminder: No matter you are enjoying karaoke or watching movies, always pay attention to your volume so that you are not upsetting others.
